Warlock Guide

Warlock


The warlock is a spell DPS class. He is excelent at regaining mana using Demon circle [D] and Mana drain [E]. If you find any big errors or flaws in this guide please comment. I will not post description for each abbility, but will now make a simple summary of each one, here we go...

[Q]
The target will get increased attackspeed. The little damage he will take is barely noticable. I dont use it alot in battle (Sometimes if good archer) because it takes time to find the target and click. But always buff up shaman, rouge, archer and maybe warrior before battle! Although, archer gets 10x as powerful with good items, if he does have good items, he should constantly have this.

[W]
Deals damage. If you press s afterwards you can cast another spell much faster.

[E]
Drains 200 mana, usually from the boss. Very useful when not having enough mana for demon circle, but you should use whenever possible!!

[R]
Cripple... It no longer reduces your hp to 1%, but reduces it to 55%. It is way more useful now as it heavily weakens the boss causing less damage to the tank. When youre low on healers, this can be an effiecant protection. Be careful on more damage-heavy bosses like twintrix, though. Always have 345 mana or in emergencies 260, since you want demon circle to restore hp and mana or simply mana drain. Remember, if you have less HP than 55% it actually takes your hp to 55%, so its very useful when having less hp. Can be used to recover health faster with demon circle, more effiecent the more mana-items you have.


[D]
This is the demon circle, probably the most important spell of the warlock. It reduces your hp and mana to a very low amount but quickly buffs both stats up to its maximum. It's used to regain your mana more effiecently than mana drain[E]. Make sure to run out of range of ANY attack before using. You are easily one-hitted. It's important to always save 145 mana when you cast so you can use this, once youre pretty close to 145, use this to resotre all your mana!

[F]
One of the warlocks more important spells. It makes the boss take more damage from attacks and heavily aids the shaman, rouge and archer. You shall ALWAYS cast this when the cooldown is out because it kills the boss so much faster. Notice that you can turn on autocasting but it only works if the warlock isnt doing something else. Could be useful but I prefer manually.

[G]
Also deals damage, but in a line. If you press s afterwards you can cast another spell much faster.

Hands (important)
The warlock's damage spells (W and G) have incredibly short cooldown and aslong as you have mana you should keep spamming these. Therefore you should hold one finger on each of those hotkeys. I assume that you are right-handed.

Your right hand is on the mouse of course. Place your middlefinger on D. Since you will be spamming W and G for damage, put your index finger on G and your ringfinger on W.

Move middlefinger up to manadrain[E] and cripple[R] and return to D, which is demon circle and keep spamming with W/G. Move G finger to the left to cast F. Use W finger for Q but i rarely use that spell. Always return to basic position.

Play Style
There are tiny tutorials in the spell summaries, so read those as well. The basic order of warlock is cast-as-hell. Constantly refresh mana with E and D when your'e down to 145. Just keep casting W and G all the time! F should be cast constantly as well, it is stronger than cripple in my opinion! Use cripple sometimes too, dont count on healers to fix you up so have 145 aditional mana for demon circle. Warrior will take less damage for a whole minute but its a pretty big chance you will die, use wisely. Thats pretty much it... remember, move your fingers fast and cast, cast, cast.

So press w-g-w-g-w-g + some other stuff until your down to 145 mana and then D.
Remember to always look at your mana, being able to afford mana-refreshing abilities is key to Warlock

Look at the guide, if you disagree with the approval, may so be, if not, do not complain over the great shibi Aikola's approval.

I'm just saying that he should have a better reason. I'd totally approve it no doubt. But I thought it was a stupid reason. :p
