concidering to actually do it.

However, I would not make it as simple as 1: do minigame 2: buy gear

I prefer Risk's advice due to me liking the "convert into material" thingy

That is the stupidest decision I have ever heard since Charles XII of sweden decided to invade russia <.<'

Why the hell would you force players to walk an extra bit? It's not more difficult, and doesen't give a higher sense of adventure... It's just stupid and boring. Right now, you are just lazy and want to do less triggering.

I won't help you with bow if you are gonna keep doing these kind of decisions!
-People don't want to "find" the boss rooms.
-People don't want to wait for people while they convert rare materials
-People don't want to wait for that laaaaaaast player to join that takes an hour
-People dont want to spam a spell on pigs over and over and over

And people certanly doesen't want to walk an unnecssary part in order to get the items and therefore having to write 25 extra letters whenever they save!!
This is so dumb!

This will completely ruin the fixes that risk.frishers idea gives!

Well, you have a point there Mr.Hagge but I have an idea of how I want my game to be and that is what I follow.

I do not want a quick, simple game. I want some parts to be boring and littery a pain in the ass!



*I will replace the 3 minigames with 1 random minigame.
*I will replace all materials gained through the minigame with Tokens.
*I will make difficulty selection and a co-op possibility to the minigame, making it very fun. (co-op will give 2x the amount of tokens and the different difficulties will give different amounts of tokens).
*Tokens will be pawnable for materials.


This is the way that I want it to be, and it is the way it will become.

Thank all of you for this wonderfull idea btw! It will be so much better!

But you can't do this. People are not normally massochistic enough to go through with that for no reason.
It's already boring enough to do the f*king silly minigames a hundred times over.
If you would start a poll 90% would say no.
If you ever wants to make games, you must listen to the people who play the game, they don't play it to get bored or annoyed. They want to play to have fun damnit!

You can place the token shop right next to the others maybe? And instead of spreading them all around, put them all in a pretty small town.

The tailoring in the basement of the inn, the blacksmith and leatherworking next to it. Then on the other side of the inn there could be a tokenshop.

To fix the save problem you could just give ranks to the tokens, remove materials. Delete proffessions, call them a job/work/whatever. Then you don't make em have with proffessions to do at all, and you can BUY gear for your tokens ( Which are pretty much your salory. )

You can then also add something like a reputation to the merchant, which makes them present the more advanced weapons, this is to exchange the level part of proffessions.

You know that people will absue tokens? like they did mats and gold?

Also i suggest for the Trade that you replace the circle models to the models that looks like icon if you dont know how to do it i can show you.. its not that hard Smile

How would they abuse tokens? It's not gonna be tradeable in the first place. You don't need to trade them.

No, this is how it will be.

Bronze Token presents : Cloth, Leather and Stone.
Silver Token presents : Wool, Hardleather and Iron.
Gold Token presents : Silk, Dragonhide and Thorium.
Platina Token presents : Onyx.

The currency will be like this.

3x Bronze Token = Silver Token.
3x Silver Token = Gold Token.
5x Gold Token = Platina Token.

The profession mode will be called Job/Work.

Cloth, Leather, Stone, Wool, Hardleather, Iron, Silk, Dragonhide, Thorium and Onyx will disappear from the game. Instead the items will be exactly the same they are at the moment, but instead of 3x Stone 2x Iron It'll be 3x Bronze Tokens 2x Silver Tokens.


Currently when you type -mats you'll see your materials.

Later this command will be changed to -tokens and it'll show your tokens.

The profession levels will get exchanged for mechantism renown, the higher you got, the better items/deals the merchants are willing to offer you. So you'll level by buying items.

The minigames will be based on random work situations inside an inn/tavern. I'm not very sure on that point tho.

well, both idea's sounds really good but, tbh i would go with Haggz idea since he got more experience and he knows what hes doing. Risk's idea sounds good but, Haggz idea somehow sounds better (=.=) (well, my opinion is not going to be cared for so, well just speaking my mind. Nothing personal!)

Hagge is better in world editor than me in triggering.
I am better than Hagge in the terraining aspects.

The only reason for me having a such successful game as BoW meanwhile hagge does not is because he doesn't have the stamina to continue with a project for years without it being a success at the start.

However, me and Hagge are working on a project together aside from BoW. This will be released sometime at the end of spring break (hopefully).

Increase the duration that the taunt effect lasts on monsters, or decrease the cooldown on taunt by about 1 second. I've noticed its pretty hard to control aggro 100% of the time on all bosses, so this will help it just a bit.

it should be hard to control aggro that the tank needs some skill otherwise u only spam taunts and then all warriors say its boring. u need some tactic to use these spells right, and thats ok.
