Morbidillusion's Archer Guide Empty
PostSubject: Morbidillusion's Archer Guide   Morbidillusion's Archer Guide EmptyThu May 19, 2011 11:26 am

All that is left to do is add pictures, and maybe develop videos.

Morbidillusion's Archer Guide 2h67vc8
Perfect Aim - Passive
Action: The archer has a 5% chance with each shot to hit a vulnerable spot, increasing the arrow's damage by 5x its normal damage.
CD: Not Available
Range: Not Available
Hot-key: Not Available
Manacost: 0
https://2img.net/h/oi52.tinypic.com/2a7wz69.jpg (A nice crit proc by Perfect Aim)

Morbidillusion's Archer Guide 2ligc9j
Potion of Rapid Arrows - Active
Type: support
Action: The Archer drink a potion of his, increasing his attack speed by 500% and his movement speed by 150% for 15 seconds
CD: 60 seconds (I figured this out myself, and if Sverkerman reads this you should add this to the description Very Happy)
Range: Not Available
Hot-key: F
Manacost: 0
https://2img.net/h/oi55.tinypic.com/99kuc5.jpg (Use this whenever it is active... it greatly increases your damage output and could potentially save your group from a wipe)

Morbidillusion's Archer Guide E1bw34
Herb Knowledge - Active
Type: Healing
Action: Heals a targeted team member for 750 damage and removes all negative effects from him.
CD: 30
Range: 200
Hot-key: G
Manacost: 0
https://2img.net/h/oi56.tinypic.com/mil6ye.jpg (Great spell... especially if you have noob healers, if a dps isnt getting healed be sure to save his ass with this)

Morbidillusion's Archer Guide 1zfu0l0
Burning Arrow - Active
Type: Damage
Action: Deals 550 + (Attack Power) as instant damage and 45 + (Attack Power) damage every second for 3 seconds to target.
CD: 12
Range: 950
Hot-key: Q
Manacost: 65
https://2img.net/h/oi56.tinypic.com/2j519nt.jpg (This is the explosion that happens every second for 3 seconds. Burning arrow is great to spam when a recovery totem or whisper of nature is active. But I wouldn't recommend using this unless you have over 100 attack power, if you have less spamming cleaving arrow is the way to go.)

Morbidillusion's Archer Guide Eth3co
Hunter's Mark - Active
Type: Support
Action: Marks and enemy target with Hunter's Mark, making it attack 15% slower and move 5% slower.
CD: 0
Range: 1200
Hot-key: W
Manacost: 0
https://2img.net/h/oi53.tinypic.com/5ma85.jpg (The red target is Hunter's Mark. Keep this skill on bosses that attack at ALL times... this skill is vital 10% reduced attack is extremely good, dont underestimate it.)

Morbidillusion's Archer Guide 2hz0j9s
Volley of Arrows - Active
Type: Damage
Action: The archer starts channeling down arrows at a target location, hitting his enemies for 200 damage per second for 5 seconds.
CD: 0
Range: 1450
Hot-key: E
Manacost: 100
https://2img.net/h/oi55.tinypic.com/axxs7t.jpg (I found a use! If you have basicly no gear.. you can use this skill to dmg the boss, since the intervals between each wave of arrows is shorter than the cooldown of cleaving arrow, your actually doing 400 dmg in the time you could do 300dmg with cleaving arrow.)

Morbidillusion's Archer Guide 358djkg
Cleaving Arrow - Active
Type: Damage
Action: Deals 300 damage to units in a line.
CD: 1
Range: 1450
Hot-key: R
Manacost: 25
https://2img.net/h/oi51.tinypic.com/293frih.jpg (The green-looking arrow is the cleaving arrow soaring through the air, when it hits the dummy it will inflict 300 damage. Spam the hell out of this, it is your main damage source, besides burning arrow.)

How to Play: Aggressively and Strategically!

If you are playing as an archer or have an archer in your raid group, Do the following:

If in a 5man group, for the tinker boss: tell your archer/or if you are the archer move to the top of the left 3 factories... then spam the hell out of cleaving arrow while shooting it straight down to get the maximum amount of damage out of it.

On Medusa: Position yourself next to the tank as if your a melee dps, then stay there and when wizards spawn shoot them from where you are, you will hit Medusa and the wizard!
https://2img.net/h/oi56.tinypic.com/dwa0s8.jpg

For a 10man group, the "first boss" will spawn water elements, when they spawn move quickly to the nearest one and shoot your cleaving arrow at the farthest one so that the cleaving arrow hits both water elements.

In that image you will see that archers can shoot all 3 factories in 5man BoW's first boss, it saves energy and time to shoot all 3 factories at once and get them down in 5 seconds.

In this one you should see that I hit both Medusa and the wizard at once, increasing my damage done while saving energy, another strategy is to go behind one wizard and shoot across to the other wizard to weaken both of them at once if your other dps is dead or weak.
https://2img.net/h/oi55.tinypic.com/ay4sn9.jpg

In this one you will see how I take out both water elementals at once. In some cases, the water elementals align with the boss so that you can hit the water elementals AND the boss!

Im really sorry for the bad quality of the boss fight pictures... I was getting hit like a monster, also when I demonstrate hitting more than 2 adds with cleaving arrow.. it only shows the damage on the first target but it actually hits both.

This guide is just about done! I will be adding more strategies and pictures whenever I can get into a 10man group... or proceed past the 2nd boss in 5man and 10man groups.

Thats quoted from the very first sentence of my guide Very Happy

I'd suggest you to pause the game whilst taking boss print screens, these are way too blurry, the first boss picture is almost impossible to see where everyone are et.c.

Good suggestion, but in the case of boss pictures where my team is getting hit, it would not matter at all... I am still getting hit and pausing the game would just increase the focus on the fire splashing out of my team's face.
